Using Truthwall Farm as your holiday base, you are within easy reach of the north (St Ives), south (Lizard) and west (Land's End) peninsulas, the heart of both being within a 15 mile radius. The popular beaches of St Ives and the 3 miles of golden sands at Hayle are also only a short drive from your base.

If you fancy some culture you can visit Tate St Ives. If visiting St Ives you should definately travel by rail on the idyllic train ride from St Erth to St Ives, reputedly the prettiest in England.
For more culture why not take in a production at The Minack Theatre on the coast at Porthcurno.
If you appreciate local history you may like to visit the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth or St Michael's Mount in close by Mount's Bay.

There is a skittle alley and trout fishery within walking distance. Other attractions that are close by are Camborne Leisure Centre with it's two pools, West Cornwall and Praa Sands Golf Clubs and the excellent family attractions of Paradise Park at Hayle and Flambards at Helston.

There is a safe and pleasant walk from the Truthwall Farmhouse to the village of Leedstown, containing a post office/grocery shop, pub and chapel. Also two farms in the village sell fresh goods from their barns.
